VERY SPECIAL little guy. He stands 2-1/8 high x 2-1/4 long x 1-1/8 inches wide. The lovely patina of this cutie is, as far as I can judge, untampered with. The Burro was manufactured in 'JAPAN', SEE LETTERS IN PHOTO. I would judge it to have been made in the late 1940's when there was great interest in the centennial of the discovery of gold in California.

| This little guy sports all the gear you would need. With the head facing left detailed are a pan for gold panning, saddle bag, water/whiskey barrel and a gourd shapped item. On the right facing view one can find a bedroll, cooking pot, strongbox, and a pick/ax over the top. Along the top are other supplies, including a shovel and sledge hammer. This little friend is made of molded pot metal and plated with a copper colored bronze plating. Make it yours today! |
